RULES FOR SCOTTISH
& NORTHERN EQUESTRIAN
RIDING CLUBS IN SCOTLAND
DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIPS
2008
- Qualifiers
for the Scottish & Northern Equestrian Riding Clubs in Scotland
Dressage Championships will be run from 1st March to 31st
August 2008. The championship will
be held at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre, West
Lothian on Sunday 19th October 2008.
- The
competition will be run under British Dressage rules as per normal Riding
Club dressage competitions.
- Qualifiers
will be run at Preliminary, Novice and Elementary levels.
- 1st,
2nd and 3rd in each qualifying class will
qualify. To qualify at all levels a
minimum percentage of 60% must be obtained. If the first two have already qualified
then the qualification will be passed down as far as 6th place
provided the required percentage is achieved.
- The
qualifying rosette and letter will be sent direct to those who qualify.
- The
championship is only open to the horse/rider combination who qualified.
- There will be no commanders
or whips at the Championships
- Entries will be drawn for
starting times
- At the Championships official
prize givings will take place and times of each prize giving will be
posted on the notice board.
- There will also be an
Affiliated championship run through British Dressage. The Scottish & Northern Equestrian
Riding Clubs in Scotland Championship is not open to affiliated BD riders
and BD registered horses.
