Just warning people that when the tide is out not to go down
to waters edge no matter how tempting it may be!! Ben (yes it had to be Ben) and HC got caught in sinking sands
on Friday morning when he and Zoe
went for a wee jaunt down the beach just down from Frank Milnes. They were wandering quite happily along the waters edge and
suddenly HC's back end went from underneath him and right down into sands. They had a hell of a struggle apparently with Zoe and Lasia helping to get him out with him giving up at one point and letting his head
go under water!! They eventually with a lot of
pulling and shouting got the horse out. A couple of kind hearted citizens
just walked on by!!! Both kids really affected by it keep getting flash backs of
horses face going under water. Not their fault could
have happened to any of us beach wanderers. Sands down there are changing so much so if you hear of anyone
heading that way give them a wee warning!! |
